Calculator inputs

When you use the OtterDesk payroll calculator, any numbers you enter (wages, hours, deductions) are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit or store your payroll inputs on our servers.

Feedback submissions are stored securely in a cloud database (Upstash Redis) hosted in the United States. Feedback is accessible only to OtterDesk and is not publicly displayed on the Blog.

We retain feedback submissions indefinitely unless you request deletion (see Section 6).

We use the following third-party services that may have access to some of your data:

• Vercel — our website hosting provider. Vercel processes traffic to our site and maintains server logs. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Upstash — cloud database used to store feedback submissions. See Upstash's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — we load the Inter typeface from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not run third-party advertising networks or tracking pixels on this site.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising cookies. Our site may set basic session cookies required for site functionality, but we do not use cookies to build a profile of your browsing behavior across other websites.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
